Day 30
Welcome back sunshine, where have you been hiding....wasn't today simply gorgeous? I had a spring in my step this morning and enjoyed a lovely relaxing steam room session after early morning Attack class with James our dynamo instructor. I love mornings everything is fresh and new, people getting ready for their day, the scent of perfume, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, dew glistening on the grass and the world wakes up ready to explore a new day full of opportunity. I made a huge green smoothie for breakfast today, swiss chard and mint from the garden, apple, cucumber, celery, lemon and a nub of ginger - very refreshing and invigorating. After that mango, peach and nectarine chopped up and doused with chia seeds with my morning teas (green tea followed by a pot of percolated dandelion tea). I enjoyed a relaxed morning at home doing some laundry and reading Richard Koch - 'Living the 80/20 Way'. Koch talks about living life in a simple and relaxed manner - less is more and the principles really harmonize with how I am eating at the moment and the direction I sense I am going in life generally. Less energy - better results. I photographed the delicious banana and mango smoothie I made before riding into town today and what bliss, it's been days since I have ridden my bicycle (I love it)! I had to pop into Cultiver to put some clothes on Véronique, my saucy new sales assistant (a vintage mannequin) who has been lounging around in 'le buff'. Bec and I were having some trouble getting her into a strapless Cue number and causing quite a stir in front of the clientele so I had to leave Bec to sort her out when no one else was around as I had to dash to my office for the afternoon and do some work. This afternoon my lovely friend Miss Susanne and I enjoyed our weekly walk around the central parks in town. The hour always flies by as we share about books, what we've been learning and all the new ideas popping around in our heads. Anyone is welcome to join us!
Cara - I hope you are writing down all the delicious receipes so you can publish an e-book at the end of this, for those of us who may wish to "dabble" into raw food?
Hi Super OM! thank you for your lovely comments - Ive had a few people suggest this idea I also ready about Stacey Stowers who spends a week with a family living in their home and teaching them how to prepare healthy raw food the whole family will love - this would also be fun but I think my hubby might miss me too much ;)
