It's been a beautiful sunny day here in Ipswich. I haven't been feeling that hungry first thing in the morning lately so I began with a pint of fresh filtered rainwater at around 7am with a glass of vital greens a little later on. I have decided to continue with my green powder whilst juicing as it really is super nutritious. I've used the product since 2008 and the extra boost of vitamins and minerals I get each day is irreplaceable. Around 9am I juiced up a great little combo which turned out to be delicious. We have a plentiful supply of cucumber, basil & silverbeet (swiss chard) in our garden at the moment and silverbeet is an absolute superfood - full of protein so I harvested those greens (hopefully i got all the hitchhikers otherwise there will be more protein than I bargained for ;), popped in some celery, ginger, apple & kiwi and surprised myself! I dropped into Wray Organics on the way to my Tuesday afternoon 5km walk and picked up some supplies and bumped into Erica. It's nearly time for bed, feeling like I need some rest, a little queasy and headache tonight - sleep should help - it is such an important part of taking care of yourself - it gives the body time to regenerate and heal itself - so good night all time for my beauty sleep! (ps photo is at the Organic Shed at Boonah - it's open Sunday mornings 8am - 1pm and you'll find a range of fresh organic goodies from local farm Waywillanwy and the raw food demo's start again on Feb 5th).
